Lauren Sánchez Reacts to Public Chatter Over Her Lacy Bustier Inauguration Outfit

Lauren Sánchez is quietly addressing the buzz surrounding her inauguration attire.

The 55-year-old philanthropist and ex-news anchor “liked” several social media remarks that appeared to reference the white suit paired with a matching bustier she donned for President Donald Trump’s January 20 inauguration.

Sánchez, who attended the event alongside her fiancé, Jeff Bezos, donned a monochromatic white outfit by Alexander McQueen, featuring a tailored blazer and a lace corset. The unconventional look received some criticism from those who felt it was too risqué for the occasion.

On the night of January 20, Sánchez participated in the Starlight Ball as part of the inauguration festivities. For the event, she wore a striking Dolce & Gabbana gown featuring a corset-style bodice and long, flowing sleeves.

Sánchez “liked” several encouraging comments, including one that stated, “THAT GIRL 🔥 don’t let the haters bring you down! Only opinion that matters is your own and Jeff’s 💯.”

Another “liked” comment mentioned, “I thought your inauguration outfit was very modern & classy you looked beautiful 💋.”

A third comment read, “Stunning! Every outfit so far is beyond the physical style but represents being true to yourself, bold, someone who takes risks, and confident in your own skin. More should embrace this.”
